Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for working with various business units to collect the requirements necessary for reports that will drive business decisions, change the face of our products, and provide key information to our executives on the health of the company. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to work with interesting data sets that span everything from financial to game play.

Responsibilities:

• Work with key business units to define daily, weekly, and monthly analytics and reporting requirements.
• Establish process for ensuring that necessary events and data is logged and collected.
• Work with database engineering team to ensure that logged events and data are stored in the warehouse and necessary resources are available to support reporting functions for the business units.
• Create reports based on available information in digestible format for business units.
• Extract data out of data warehouse, filter unnecessary information, and track the integrity of the data to provide concise ad-hoc reporting.
• Analyze data for anomalies and suggest possible actions on data.

Qualifications:

• Good SQL skills and best practice knowledge around data-mining
• Strong report development skills
• Knowledge of various business intelligence packages (NetCharts . Visual Mining a plus)
• Knowledge of SOX Compliance and commonly utilized privacy principles for data privacy and security
• Prior Business Intelligence (BI) vendor evaluation and analysis a plus
• Great communication and documentation skills
