Web Project Manager
Run your own show and build the coolest, most effective online gaming websites possible! The Web Project Manager reports to the General Manager of Slipgate Ironwork’s Publishing business and will manage the scheduling and coordination of multiple consumer-facing gaming websites. This is a mid-level position of significant autonomy and independence. You will be working with some high budget PC MMO games, and some genre-defining social networking features to tie together gaming communities. Success will come by careful planning, experienced judgment, thoughtful coordination between multiple internal and external parties, and the ability to keep the train on the tracks.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate schedules, policies, resources, timelines, assets, test plans, QA processes, and anything else needed to launch the most innovative and successful online gaming websites possible
- Keep multiple projects on track and on budget
- Coordinate closely with marketing teams, game developer teams, web production teams, producers, legal compliance people, writers, graphic designers, and programmers to make it all happen
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of work-related experience in Product Management, including building and running customer-facing websites
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work with internal and external partners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Marketing or customer service experience with online gaming a plus
- Bachelors degree in related field required

Senior Web Application Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Create visually-pleasing & intuitive web interfaces for rich MMO game worlds.

ActionScript Engineer
Slipgate Ironworks is looking for a few highly skilled Flash/ActionScript Developers to join our team. You’ll be part of the team that takes creates jaw-droppingly awesome interactive experiences. As the ideal candidate, you work well in a creative environment with colleagues who are as passionate about crafing compelling interactive experiences as you are. Your drive to develop robust, well architected code produces ActionScript that more closely resembles Java or C++ than our meager AS 1.0 forefathers thought possible. Your engineering skills set you above the flash developer/designers that didn't make it past the 'attacked by ninjas' portion of our screening process.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Lead Programmer and Producer to create technical design documents and define your schedule.
- Help our team continue to push the boundaries of what is thought to be possible with ActionScript.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to drive and implement the technology for the game.
- Write, document, and test efficient, well-architected, robust code.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years Flash Development
- 2+ years ActionScript 2.0 experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Previous development experience in languages other than Actionscript
